The present
At present the Society has 111 members, some of whom work in Slovak Academy of Science or University of technology in Košice, Žilina, Bratislava and Trnava. Organisation of the special seminar, the lectures of the foreign and domestic guests, conferences and editing of the bulletin are the main activities of the Society.
Since 1997 the Society organises The Conference of The Construction Materials in two-year period. The first two Conferences were organised in Bratislava, the third was organised in May in Košice, the fourth was organised in Bratislava (2003), the fifth was organised in Trnava (2005) and the last three Conferences was organised in Žilina (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2019, 2021).
The company meeting of the members of the Slovak Metal Science Society was realised 23th of November 2021. During this meeting was arranged, that the new committee would be 7 members.
